Somewhere around the second week of June, the village stops being quiet. The gondola spins up on June 14, the ice rink disappears under a covered stage, and by the following Thursday there is live music on a schedule you can set a dinner reservation to. If you own here, the interesting question is not what there is to do this summer. It is how to build a week around it.
The short answer: two evenings, one Thursday and one Saturday, run from mid-June through mid-September. Everything else in Beaver Creek's summer, the ticketed dinners, the Vilar shows, the July 3 celebration on Larkspur Bowl, orbits those two anchors.
The village core hosts two free outdoor concert series on a rotating cadence, both staged on the covered ice rink with the mountain rising behind the band. They do not overlap, which is the point.
